Anatomy of a Cluster
What really makes Clusty unique is what happens after you search. Instead of delivering millions of search results in one long list, our search engine groups similar results together into clusters. Clusters help you see a topical overview of your search results so you can hone in on exactly what you’re looking for or discover unexpected relationships between items. Rather than scrolling through page after page, the clusters help you find results you may have missed or that were buried deep in the ranked list.
To browse a cluster, click on its label. The results list will change to reflect the contents of that cluster. Sub-clusters will display indented under the main cluster label.
Clusters allow you to view search results:
- By topics related to your search
- By search engine source
- By url (.com, .org, etc.)
Browsing clusters will help you:
- Narrow the focus of your search
- View similar results grouped together
- Find relevant results that may not be displayed on the first page
- Uncover related information
